DISC Assessments

What Is DISC?
The DISC Profile is a self-scored behavioral assessment. Behavioral styles are grouped in four categories:
- Dominance
- Influence
- Steadiness
- Compliance
DISC profiles provide feedback for building on strengths and increasing personal and professional effectiveness.
The assessment tool can be used to improve work productivity, teamwork, and communication. It is non-judgmental and provides understanding of behavioral differences.
Participants complete a series of questions on line that produce a detailed report about personality and behavior. The process takes about 10-15 minutes. DISC profiles help you and your team:
- Increase self-knowledge; namely, how you resolve conflicts, what motivates you, what stresses you, and how you solve problems
- Learn how to adapt communication styles to connect more effectively with others in professional, social, and personal environments
- Promote constructive and creative group interaction
- Facilitate better teamwork and minimize team conflict
- Identify and respond to customer styles for better sales effectiveness
- Bring out the best in yourself and in your relationships

Why Use DISC?
Enhance Executive Performance
Key qualities found in all true leaders include:
- Ability to positively influence others
- Personal accountability
- Self-management
- Goal achievement
- Interpersonal skills
DISC assessments and 360-degree feedback reports help your executives, managers, and employees gain accurate perceptions of themselves and learn how others view them, which improves leadership effectiveness, and, in turn, leads to enhanced performance.
Improve Management/Employee Communications
Of particular interest to the executive is how the DISC assessment identifies interpersonal communication preferences. Knowing this, managers and employees can use a communication system with each other that is more effective and productive. They become more aware of how their natural and adapted behavioral styles are influencing others' reactions to them that can either enhance or inhibit their success.
Finding & Keeping Talent
Finding the right talent for specific jobs is not just desirable, but ESSENTIAL to business success. Tools that add value to the hiring process are increasingly popular with human resource professionals, line managers, and business owners. Save valuable employee time by assessing and interviewing prospective employees whose talents are truly suited to job openings.
